Faith Family Church

There’s a line in the Bible with Jesus waiting to be Baptized.  Imagine it.  We’re standing there with Jesus’ cousin John.  That camel hair wearing, burly beard baptizer who proclaims a radical message of repentance.  Standing in line, waiting your turn to be reminded of the new life in Christ that we all have been given.  How exciting it must have been.

Suddenly, you hear some commotion at front of the line.  Some ministers and religious brass are questioning poor John.  They want to know who he is, but he keeps dodging the questions.  They’re hammering him about not being the Messiah, not being Elijah, not being a prophet.

And then you hear John say something that I believe could change your life forever.

Among you stands one you do not know.

Among you stands one you do not know.

Among you stands one you do not know.

Do you know Him?  The one who is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.  The one who bent down and scribbled in the sand words of forgiveness.  The one who was born in a manger to unwed immigrant parents.  Do you know Him?  Do you know Him in a cerebral way and in an emotional way?  In a head way and in a heart way?

We all are on a journey, and sometimes, the journey can be joyous and carefree. Other times, that journey is exhausting and confusing. Here at The Reformed Church of Bronxville, we want you to know that you do not make that journey alone. God, in the person of Jesus Christ, by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, traverses with us. We also want you to know that the church is here for you too.  We are a family of faith and your family and your faith are important to us.  Ultimately, we believe to know Him is to know peace.  It’s to know purpose.  It’s to know hope.  It’s to know forgiveness.  It’s to know love.

We have countless programs in mission, youth, music, formation, and fellowship that offer you so many ways to be part of us. We also have people. People of all ages who care. People who serve. And people who love.

We hope and pray that you take a few steps on your journey with us at The Reformed Church of Bronxville.  No matter what your faith background is, we welcome you here.
