Matt Phelps Organ Recital: Sunday, October 18, 4:30 p.m.
Minister of Music, Matthew Phelps, plays a virtuosic program which includes Vierne’s Second Suite from the 24 Pieces Fantasy Pieces and the Liszt Fantasy and Fugue on BACH.
Choir Oratorio: Sunday, November 22, 4:30 p.m.
The Chancel Choir will delight with works by Handel and American composer David Conte. The concert will also feature special guest Sharon Bjorndal, who serves on the piano faculty of Bard College and is the new wife of our Assistant Director of Music, Eugene Lavery. A Pot Luck Supper follows.
Messiah Sing-In: Saturday, December 5, 4:30 p.m.
A new tradition at The Reformed Church, we will open our doors to singers throughout the area to join us for an “open sing” of the First Part of Handel’s Messiah. You can sing with us or just listen, either way, we will ring in the new Christmas season with this classic piece of music.
Handbell Concert: Sunday, December 6, 4:30 p.m.
Lee Corbett will lead our accomplished bellringer program in Christmas favorites and a variety of other pieces specifically written for handbells. A popular event every Christmas season, do not miss this chance to hear some of the best performances of the year.
White Gift Service: Sunday, December 13, 4:30 p.m.
One of our most storied traditions, join the Youth and Children’s Choir Program along with our Youth Ministry for our annual Christmas Pageant. This year, the mission proceeds will be donated to help children in need.
Xavier University Concert Choir on Tour: Wednesday, January 6, 7:30 p.m.
Xavier University Concert Choir from Cincinnati, Ohio, will join us for a concert during their tour of the New York area. A wonderful collegiate choir, they will delight us with a program of sacred and secular choral pieces. This is an excellent concert to bring friends and family!
Johnette Schuller Memorial Organ Recital : Sunday, January 31, 4:30 p.m.
Eugene Lavery, our Assistant Director of Music, will give our second annual Johnette Schuller Memorial Organ Recital. Eugene has just finished his Master’s Degree from Julliard, and, while working for us here in Bronxville, is giving recitals throughout the region. Come hear Eugene display the varied colors of our wonderful Schantz Organ.

Our annual Choir Festival will feature our entire program of adults and children choirs, exhibiting the full scope of our Music Ministry Program.
