The Confirmation Experience
|
The Confirmation experience is a crucial step for youth. Through Confirmation Class, the students learn about the history, theology, and practice of Christianity, and discern more clearly what they believe. They explore how they will express their faith within the church family, and make commitments to strengthen and grow in their relationship with the church and with God.
Our confirmands also take on the full privileges and responsibilities of church membership. The Confirmation time is a chance to "come and see" what Christ has in store for us, to serve in mission, to participate and lead in worship, to be mentored, and to express a personal faith statement.
