We hope to work closely with parents to assure that the needs of each child are met and that his or her special talents are developed.

ORIENTATION PROGRAM:  New Parents' Orientation Meeting - This is held in the Spring to welcome families of children who will be new to our school the following year.

SCHOOL VISITS:  School visits take place in September.  Your child’s teacher will contact you to arrange a convenient time to meet with her
 at school. This helps children and families to get acquainted with the teacher and ensures a smooth and happy transition from home to school.

PARENT CONFERENCES: Parent conferences will be held in the fall and in the spring for our 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds.  We hope that both parents will attend these conferences, if possible.  Please check the calendar for dates.

During the year, the staff is available to confer with parents about any problems or questions that may arise concerning a child.  Phone calls or special appointments are welcomed.  Please do not use dismissal time to discuss concerns.  Children are tired or within hearing distance and teachers are involved with their students.

COMMUNICATIONS:  A school newsletter is published several times throughout the year in order to keep parents well informed.    Teachers will also send along classroom news about activities, trips, projects, etc.  The children bring information home through the bookbag.
