Report on the Accessibility Project
The Accessibility Committee, under the chairmanship of Paul Shoemaker seeks to insure the accessibility of all our facilities and in so doing promote the full inclusion, participation and contribution of all persons in the ministry of our church.

The Committee has implemented some measures to improve accessibility, including the alteration of some of the pews in the sanctuary so that people in wheelchairs, and the like, can more easily be seated and can sit next to their families and friends during the service.  The Committee also is working with the Nursery School to improve access by constructing a ramp at the Kraft Avenue entrance.

With architect John Cutsumpas, the committee has developed a proposal for the construction of an elevator to make all four floors of the Education Building accessible to everyone.  In addition, an accessible entrance from the parking lot into the second floor of the Education Building will be constructed.
