A Spiritual Response to Gun Violence

Sunday, November 19, 12:00–3:00pm, Congregational Hall (gym). Tested by our grief, yet resolute in our faith over the loss of life in a mass shooting in Las Vegas, we will host a film screening of the documentary Newtown followed by a panel discussion on the phenomenon of gun violence and how our faith directs us to respond. We encourage you to attend and become informed on how each of us can do our small part to resist violence and heed God’s call towards informed and practical action. Our panelists are experts and community leaders working to end gun violence, including Kim A. Snyder, the director of Newtown. A light lunch will be provided. Space is limited, RSVP
