The half-day, on-site retreat for men and women originally scheduled for January 28 will now take place March 11, providing a soulful start to Lent. Nina Frost, a vocational counselor and spiritual director, will present “Threshold Times: A Lenten Half-Day Retreat.” According to Frost, the season of Lent invites us into prayerful reflection, as Jesus moves toward the cross and then beyond it. Each of us is on a pilgrimage filled with our own crossroads and thresholds…calls to new life and questions about what needs to be put down. This reflective mini-retreat blends some of the classic and prayerful invitations of Lent with poetry, journaling, and community. This day is designed to be both a sacred, restful pause and a time to privately and prayerfully reflect on your own journey. No retreat experience is necessary; come for a time of refreshment for the road ahead. $25 per adult covers light refreshments and materials.
